Range Safety Officer
As a Range Safety Officer (RSO), you're not just maintaining a safe shooting environment—you're also creating an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors. Our RSOs are the face of the range, setting the tone for a welcoming, safety-first atmosphere where education, courtesy, and professionalism are top priority.
The right person for this role is passionate about firearm safety, thrives under pressure, and genuinely enjoys working with people. You’ll enforce range rules, lead safety briefings, assist shooters with equipment or technique, and be ready to step in during any emergency. You’ll also coach guests through basic safety procedures, help troubleshoot malfunctions, and always look for ways to enhance the guest experience.
Instructor
At Lake Erie Arms, our firearms Instructors play a vital role in delivering not only safe and effective firearms training, but also top-notch customer experience. Our instructors are passionate about connecting with people, building relationships with members, and helping shooters of all skill levels grow in both knowledge and confidence.
This role is equal parts educator, coach, and ambassador. You’ll lead safety-first, customer-friendly training sessions that range from beginner instruction to more advanced defensive and tactical shooting courses. You’ll help guests feel comfortable and informed, meet them at their level, and guide them through personalized instruction that prioritizes clear communication, encouragement, and real progress.
If you're someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys building rapport with guests and members, and takes pride in delivering safe, professional, and engaging instruction, we’d love to talk to you!
